Before coming to UMass, I studied sociocultural anthropology at Hampshire College. In my three years there, I wrote my thesis on transnational and transracial adoption's effects on the formation of identity and completed four Five College Undergraduate Certificates in Culture, Health, and Science, International Relations, Queer and Sexuality Studies, and Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice. I'm also pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Feminist Studies while working for UMass' Residential Life and serving as President of the Policy Administration Graduate Council.
