School of Public Policy Hosts Talk on Policing

Announcement of Brandi Blessett talk

The UMass Amherst School of Public Policy will host a conversation with Brandi Blessett, PhD, director of the Master of Public Administration Program at the University of Cincinnati, on Monday, Sept. 21, at noon.

Blessett will speak on "The Patterns and Practice of Predatory Policing in Communities of Color."

Blessett is an associate professor and director of the Master's of Public Administration Program at the University of Cincinnati. Her research examines the role of institutions and administrative actions in facilitating disadvantage.

The event, to be held via Zoom, is open to the UMass Amherst community.

Registration is required.
