The beta test, hosted by the School of Public Policy, will be held on January 25 on campus. UMass Amherst graduate and undergraduate students from any major or discipline can apply to take part.
Members of the winning team in the UMass beta test will be invited to serve as mentors to other students taking part in the official competition, scheduled for late February. The UMass mentors will receive free travel to one of the domestic competition sites: Malibu; Puerto Rico; Washington, DC; Albany; or Dallas.
The priority application deadline is Tuesday, December 17, at 9 a.m.
