Finance Your Education

Student in classroom, writing

At the UMass Amherst School of Public Policy, our goal is to make our graduate programs financially accessible to all students, whether in state, out of state, or international.

We offer Commonwealth Policy Fellowships, which recognize academic excellence and leadership potential. To be considered for a Commonwealth Policy Fellowship, apply by the March 15 priority funding deadline.

Accepted applicants will be notified of their funding award with their acceptance letter.

The University of Massachusetts’ Financial Aid Services provides detailed information on the options available to all prospective UMass graduate students.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to research all areas of financial aid that may be available to them, including fellowship opportunities for foreign nationals and domestic students.
