At the UMass Amherst School of Public Policy, our goal is to make our graduate programs financially accessible to all students, whether in state, out of state, or international.
We offer grants of up to $25,000, including Commonwealth Policy Fellowships, which recognize academic excellence and leadership potential.
Students can also pursue other funding opportunities, including graduate assistantships across campus. Check in frequently with the UMass Amherst Graduate Assistantship Office for the latest available opportunities.
The University of Massachusetts’ Financial Aid Services provides detailed information on the options available to all prospective UMass graduate students.
Costs for our graduate programs include tuition, university fees, health care costs and living expenses. A breakdown of all costs is available through the Bursar’s Office.
