The School of Public Health and Health Sciences is currently undergoing a rigorous self-assessment as part of its reaccreditation process with the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The initial results of the school’s self-study report, which includes a systematic examination of its instructional, research, and service programs and activities, is now available for review online here.

One of the most important parts of the self-assessment process is feedback from the school’s constituents, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, board members, community partners, and members of the university community. The school invites commentary from all on the self-study report, including how well the school is meeting the accreditation criteria and the report’s conclusions about the school’s strengths, weaknesses, and plans for improvement.

“This is a very important time for our school as it gives us the opportunity to evaluate, reflect, and strategize for our future,” writes Dean Anna Maria Siega-Riz in an email to the SPHHS community. “You may have contributed to our self-study in the past or this may be your first time being a part of this process – whatever your experience, we encourage you to become involved and we value your input.”

Please share your thoughts using the online feedback form found on the self-study report webpage. All feedback from this form will be anonymous.

Feedback provided before October 4, 2021 will be incorporated into the school’s preliminary report due to CEPH on October 25. Feedback received after that date is still welcome and will be considered for the final report due February 23, 2022.
