The School of Public Health and Health Sciences will host its 7TH ANNUAL FALL CELEBRATION on Saturday, October 15th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Fine Arts Center. The event brings alumni, faculty, staff, students, and friends from all departments together to celebrate the SPHHS community. The informal brunch hour provides ample opportunity for alumni and friends to reconnect, to visit with current faculty, staff, and students, and to learn more about all the major happenings within the SPHHS and its departments. It also features a series of talk from special student speakers.

Each year, the School also honors the accomplishments of its alumni by giving the SPHHS Award for Significant Contributions to the fields of public health and health sciences to one deserving alumnus/na of the School. This year, the SPHHS will honor alumna Leslie A. Chambers, '79 (Nutrition), MS '85 (Community Health Education), the President and CEO of the American Parkinson Disease Association. As part of this year's celebration weekend, the SPHHS will also host the Dean's Symposium on Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Diseases featuring a keynote address by Chambers.

All who wish to attend the Fall Celebration are encouraged to REGISTER TODAY!
