Over the course of May 13 and 14, 2021, the University of Massachusetts Amherst conferred over 2000 advanced degrees and 6,400 undergraduate degrees to the Class of 2021, including nearly 650 SPHHS graduating seniors and over 150 graduate students.

Preliminary results from a statewide study led by infectious disease epidemiologist Andrew Lover reveal an asymptomatic COVID-19 infection rate last summer of 5.3% among UMass Amherst undergraduate students and their families and 4% among faculty, staff, graduate students and their family members.
