Kinesiology alumnus Justin Killeen ’11, and owner of 50/50 Fitness/Nutrition in Hadley was recently profiled in an article by the UMass Alumni Association. The piece focuses on Killeen’s ability to create balance and positive change in people’s lives by concentrating on their diet and exercise routines.
Voted the 2017 “Best Personal Trainer” by readers of the Valley Advocate, the kinesiology alum holds numerous fitness certifications, taking a holistic approach to health and wellness. “We work with clients to figure out what’s happening and why, how much they can control, and what they ultimately want to accomplish in order to create an action plan,” says Killeen. “To do this we look at body composition, nutrition, hydration, cardio, strength, flexibility, and mobility to create an individualized roadmap to success.”
