UMass Magazine highlights Kinesiology alumnus Efosa Guobadia '07 in a cover feature titled "Prime Mover." Describing him as a "vibrant, visionary UMass alumnus [who] brings rehab clinics and services to underserved communities at home and abroad," the story profiles Guobadia's work as co-founder, president and CEO of Move Together. The nonprofit organization "helps bring quality rehab medicine to what Guobadia hopes will someday be 'a clinic in every community and a sense of community in every clinic,' both at home and in needy settings overseas."
Guobadia, who received the inaugural SPHHS Distinguished Young Alumni Award in 2017, received his doctorate in physical therapy and worked for ATI Physical Therapy prior to launching Move Together. "Healthier movement makes for healthier people who can better engage with the world in every facet of their lives," he says. "And healthy, engaged people make for a better world."
The story appears in the Fall 2018 issue of the magazine.
