The SPHHS will host its annual Career Networking and Development Conference on March 20-21, 2019. Take a step toward your future and join us for this two day event! Meet alumni, make lasting professional connections and define your own path into a successful career.

The SPHHS will kick off its annual Career Networking and Development Conference on March 20, 2019, with an Alumni Networking Night being held from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Campus Center's Amherst Room (10th floor). Join SPHHS alumni from all majors working in a variety of professions for an evening of networking. The event format will consist of 20-minute rounds of speed networking done in a group.

Day two of the annual SPHHS Career Networking and Development Conference will kick off with a traditional career fair in the Campus Center Auditorium. Join us on March 20, 2019 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm to meet employers and vendors and learn about current and future opportunities with their organizations.

The SPHHS will close its annual Career Networking and Development Conference on March 21, 2019 with three panel discussions. Learn about the benefits of working in a particular industry and meet successful individuals working within the field. Choose from among the following: Clinical; Community Outreach and Health Services; and Personalized Health and Technology. Join us afterward for a networking mixer with our panelists.
Join us on March 21st from 3:30 - 4:30pm in ISB room 145 to hear Dr. Rachel Volberg's talk on "Studying the Social and Economic Impacts of Gambling in MA." The SEIGMA study is designed to monitor the social and economic impacts associated with the introduction of casino gambling in Massachusetts and provide early warning of negative impacts that may need to be mitigated.

The Leadership and Service program within the Department of Student Engagement and Leadership is happy to announce the return of the UMass Amherst Student Leadership Conference! The conference will take place on campus on Saturday, March 23. Come participate in our various workshops on leadership and more. The best part of the conference – it is free to UMass students. Attendance is limited, so register early to secure a space.

Open to all students who claim an identity that is typically underrepresented in the work place, including students with disabilities, first generation students, students of color, LGBTQ+ students, etc. Network with employers who are seeking diverse candidates for their internship and full time opportunities. Employers that are selected to attend show a strong commitment to a diverse and supportive workplace, and want to put identities and experiences first. This event is open to ALL majors! Dinner will be served. Professional dress, resumes are optional.
