The School of Public Health and Health Sciences welcomes Associate Professor of Environmental Health Sciences and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Academic Affairs Laura Vandenberg for the next talk in its Dean's Seminar Series on April 8, 2021, from 5:00-6:00 pm. She will deliver a talk titled "From Mice to Women: How Environmental Chemicals Disrupt Maternal & Infant Health, and What We Can Do About It."
Evidence continues to mount that the chemicals in your personal care products, plastics, food packaging, and homes could be affecting your health. Work using a mouse model suggests that these chemicals might affect the health of both mothers and babies with effects on nursing, anxiety, growth and development. How do we protect ourselves, our communities, and future generations?
