The UMass Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences presents the next event in the Dean's Symposia Series: "A Conversation in the Community: A Public Health Approach to Suicide Prevention." The symposium will be held April 4, 2019 from 9:30am to 11:30am in the Old Chapel. 

Join us as we welcome suicide prevention specialist Dr. Eric Caine, Director of the Injury Control Research Center for Suicide Prevention at the University of Rochester Medical Center, for his keynote lecture "Rethinking Suicide Prevention."

Featured speakers will include Kelley Cunningham, Director of the Suicide Prevention Program at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and Associate Professor of Health Promotion and Policy Lisa Wexler.

A panel discussion moderated by Health Promotion and Policy senior lecturer Gloria DiFulvio will follow the presentations.
