Delta Omega Inducts New Members at Annual Luncheon

The Delta Omega Honor Society Rho Chapter inducted new members into its ranks during its annual luncheon in April. The group's purpose is to encourage excellence in student scholarship and research, recognize academic achievement in public health, and to promote continued effort.
 

Undergraduate student inductees were Gaurav Dangol, Ilyssa Deleon, and Neda Toutounchi Shabestari. Graduate student inductees were Martha Duffy, Ilana Gerjuoy, and Stephen Lauer. Alumna inductees were Cristina Huebner Torres, Sally Linowski, Catherine Wickham, and the faculty inductee was Associate Professor of Epidemiology Brian Whitcomb.

The Rho Chapter also recognized graduate students Christine Langton, Monika Roy and Aruna Priya, who were the top place finishers in the 22nd Annual School of Public Health and Health Sciences Research Day.
