The University of Massachusetts Amherst, School of Public Health and Health Sciences, Department of Kinesiology offers fully-online 3 and 4 credit, GenEd and prerequisite courses.
Courses are offered during the spring, summer, fall, and winter semesters and are open to anyone, even if you’re not admitted UMass Amherst or a Five College Consortium student.
Course tuition is $402.00/per credit and a $47.00 registration fee and is the same regardless of whether you’re in-state or out-of-state.
Enrollment is open now and Fall 2019 classes begin on Sept. 3, 2019.

- Kin 100-Introduction to Kinesiology - An interdisciplinary approach to the science of human movement. Topics include motor control, exercise physiology, biomechanics, sports medicine, exercise neuroscience, and exercise psychology. (Gen.Ed. BS)
- Kin 270-Anatomy and Physiology I with lab - Study of the structure and function of cell, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems in the human body. Integration and regulations of system function from an applied perspective through clinical applications.
- Kin 272-Anatomy and Physiology II with lab - Study of structure and function of the following systems: endocrine, digestive, urinary, respiratory and cardiovascular systems. Integration and regulation of system function from an applied perspective through clinical applications.
