The UMass/Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences offers a now fully online Master of Public Health degree on the UMass Chan Medical School Worcester Campus.  The Worcester Campus MPH Program includes the following requirements: 

  • Six public health core courses (18 credits)  
  • Three research-based courses, including research methods, a practicum, and a final capstone project (9 credits) 
  • Five electives from your choice of over 40 biostatistics, epidemiology, environmental health sciences or nutrition courses (15 credits)  

The 3 credit practicum and capstone experiences are developed in consultation with the Director of the Worcester Campus MPH Program. The Director is also the program's faculty advisor who is available to provide assistance with all elements of curricular planning and completion.  Independent Study is also an option.  
Worcester Campus MPH students are eligible to complete a certificate in Global Health in conjunction with the UMass Amherst Public Health Practice online program.
