Emma Rivera-Rábago, Senior Lecturer. PhD in Hispanic Literature from UMass Amherst in 1998. She is a generalist in Spanish-American literature and culture courses in the Spanish and Portuguese Unit since 2002. Her main academic interests are 19th and 20th century Spanish-American narrative. She won the 2003-2004 Distinguished Teaching Award (UMass Amherst).  Since 2010 she has been assistant editor for Folium Editores in Puerto Rico.
