Lidia is a native Catalan teacher who possesses extensive knowledge about language and culture. Her main interests are researching in bilingual environments, second-language interactional competence, and second-language teaching methodology.

Guillem Molla is a senior lecturer of Spanish and director of the Catalan language program. He also serves as the Spanish minor advisor and the Honors director of the Spanish and Portuguese Studies unit. Since 2014, he has co-curated the Massachusetts Catalan Film Festival and UMass Catalan Week.
