Looking for an Internship?

There are a number of ways for Sociology Majors to find an internship. You can get support finding internships by making an appointment with an advisor from the SBS Pathways Center, or get ideas for a future internship by exploring your career pathways. Students can also attend one of the regularly scheduled Internship Workshops held in Career Services (Goodell 508) to gather information. You can also browse a list of Sociology Major Internship Placements or stop by the Sociology Department’s Advising Office (Thompson 1012) to learn more about internships that Sociology majors have pursued recently. You can also meet with Bob Ryan for help finding a sociology-related internship, including in the fields of criminology or social work; his office is in Thompson 1030.
