Ragini Malhotra has been recognized with several recent awards at the University of Southern Maine: 2025-2026 University Trustee Professor Award, 2025 Student Government Association Student Focused Faculty Award, and the 2024 Kathleen I. MacPherson Outstanding Feminist Faculty Award for Excellence in Feminist Scholarship, Teaching, and Service. Malhotra also recently published in Gender, Place, and Culture, "'We want to live as other children live': Palestinian children's resistance to genocide as 'fighting for life.'"
