- Take the Junior Year Writing course—wait for it—in your Junior Year!
- All of your General Education courses should be complete by now. If they’re not—finish them!
- Take SOCIOL 302 (Sociological Theory) if you have not already!It also fulfills the University's IE requirement.
- Take a leadership role in a student group or club.
- Find and apply for internships—you can do more than one!
- Start thinking… ”What’s next?” Consider taking SOCIOL 430 Next Steps: Preparing for Life After UMass to explore your interests and plan for the job market or graduate school.
- Improve your resume!
- If you’re thinking about graduate school, attend a Graduate School Workshop.
