Le Named SBS Outstanding Mentor

Professor C.N. Le, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Director of the Asian and Asian American Studies certificate program, is one of two recipients of the SBS Outstanding Mentor Award, alongside Seyram Avle, Assistant Professor of Communication.  The Outstanding Mentor Award recognizes and encourages faculty who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the mentorship of students.  The award celebrates faculty who have effectively guided students at UMass individually or more broadly through the creation of mentoring communities or building infrastructure for the mentorship of graduate and/or undergraduate students.  Read the full announcement on the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences website.
