Danielle McCarthy

Danielle is a PhD candidate whose research areas focus on reproductive health disparities, Black women’s health, and racism as a process primarily from the perspectives of medical sociology, critical race theory, and historical sociology. Her work seeks to understand how racism is an ongoing and recurring process with ideological and structural factors that reproduce racialized reproductive health outcomes over time.
