Research:
Project entails working on the NIH/NICHD-funded study of middle schoolers’ weight-related behaviors (WRB) and social networks at four Springfield (MA) schools over a span of 5 years. The project goals are to uniquely identify accessible leverage points that can be exploited to develop and implement successful school-based WRB interventions. 

About me:
Kassandra Jean-Marie is a sophomore double majoring in Public Health and Microbiology. Kassandra wishes to be a medical doctor, who specializes in infectious diseases. She is interested in serving areas with high levels of poverty and health inequalities.

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan on attending medical school and working in a community with a high level of poverty and health inequalities.
