For 50 years, STPEC’s interdisciplinary programming has challenged students to approach our most complex societal concerns with a critical analysis and transformative solutions. STPEC could not have thrived for this long without your help.
There Are Several Ways To Give.
Provide a one-time gift or offer sustained monthly support. Both types of gifts can be made online through the secure UMass website. Your gift will help strengthen STPEC’s internship program, student activism and general programming.
Contribute to the Sara Lennox Fund. Created in honor of Sara Lennox's 31 years of service to the STPEC Program and the University, this fund supports the STPEC program and awards scholarships to current STPEC students who seek financial support while they engage in activism and community service. Give directly to the Sara Lennox Fund or make your check payable to “UMass Amherst” designating “Sara Lennox Fund” in the memo line.
Host an intern. Many STPEC students are eager to speak and work with program alumni to learn from their real world experiences. If you are interested in providing an internship to a current STPEC student, please contact, Internship Director, Monica Garcia.
Establish an endowment for STPEC. We would like to thank Jamie Gamble and Hugh Hall for generously establishing the Gamble Endowment and Hall Endowment respectively. Both endowments provide vital long term support to STPEC. Please contact the SBS development office via email or phone, 413-545-4173.
