Join us for a hands-on workshop on law school application essays. Over the last two years, there have been lots of changes to the essay prompts for what we used to call “personal statements” — new questions, new additional “optional” essays, and more. We’ll start with a presentation about what the essays look like, what they’re really asking, and what the most compelling statements include. Then we’ll move on to some writing exercises of our own to get you started. Bring your favorite writing implement and your readiness to start getting this work done. Don’t worry, you won’t have to share your writing with the other participants!
