SBS Grants and Fellowship Summit
The world of funding your research has evolved substantially over the past two years. Particularly for social scientists, we know this has made finding support for your students, your data collection and analysis, and time for writing even more complex.
Are you applying for your first grant or fellowship this year? Is this your 20th year applying for research support?
Are you a current PI with questions about how to spend and manage your existing grants?
How familiar are you with the grant support services available through ISSR? Do you know when and how to use them?
Join us (in person or online) for a session designed to put you on solid ground for landing and managing your research funding at any level, and to share novel ideas from the ISSR grants support team and your peers. Over lunch, we will walk through some of the most important things you need to successfully navigate the path for successful research funding.
Faculty from SBS and all other schools and departments are invited!
Topics include:
- From Ideas to Proposals - Preparation for Federal and foundation funding
- Avoiding Surprises - ISSR staff support for budgets and timelines for grant submission
- You’re Funded! Now What? - Post-award setup
- Working in the System - Grant management, systems and staff/PI responsibilities
