REGISTRATION REQUIRED

MATLAB is an interactive, matrix-based system for scientific and engineering numeric computation and visualization. Designed for individuals with no prior programming experience, the workshop will help users begin to use MATLAB. Participants are strongly recommended to take “Intermediate MATLAB” after this course.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Write a simple M-file, including both scripts and functions
  • Enter matrices, perform matrix and array operations
  • Get exposure to flow control statements such as “for”, “while”, “if” and “relations
  • Use scalar functions, vector functions and matrix functions

ISSR Methodology Consultants are generously supported by the Graduate School at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
