Instructor: Jessica Pearlman

Are you using SAS for your data analysis and would like to be able to clean and organize your data?

In this workshop you will learn how to create SAS files, make and recode variables, and merge multiple SAS files to add variables and/or observations. No prior SAS experience is necessary.

This workshop is especially beneficial for students and faculty who may have some limited experience using SAS for analysis but would like to learn how to use SAS to prepare their data for analysis.

If you don’t have SAS on your computer you can check out one of the ISSR laptops to use during the workshop.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to

  • Create SAS files from raw data
  • Create and recode variables
  • Merge multiple SAS files
