This workshop will provide an introduction to survey design, including both factual questions and questions designed to measure beliefs and attitudes. We will focus on techniques for designing clear, effective survey questions. We will also cover strategies to increase memory recall in survey responses. The workshop will include several exercises to give students hands on experience with designing survey questions.
