ISSR Methodology Workshop | Introduction to Mplus (Online)
Instructor: Elinore Waite
Mplus is a latent variable modeling program that can be used for a variety of analyses, such as confirmatory and exploratory factor analysis, structural equation modeling, growth modeling, and multilevel analyses. In this two hour workshop, we will cover the basics of the Mplus software, writing syntax, and reviewing output. Specifically, we will review the steps to conduct a simple mediation analysis, and will briefly introduce working with latent factors.
This workshop is primarily intended for people who have little to no prior experiences with Mplus. If needed, a free demo version of the Mplus program is available here: https://www.statmodel.com/demo.shtml
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Understand the basics of the Mplus software
- Prepare data and write Mplus syntax
- Conduct a mediation analysis and interpret output
