MATLAB is an interactive, matrix-based system for scientific and engineering numeric computation and visualization. Designed for social scientists with some introductory background in MATLAB, the workshop will cover topics on how to construct graphs and perform regression. Participants are strongly recommended to take “Introductory MATLAB” before this course.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Produce different graphs / plots using primary commands
  • Import data and perform summary statistics
  • Write a code on performing a standard Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression
