ISSR Methodology Workshop | Facilitating Photovoice Focus Group Discussions (Online)
Instructor: Brittni Howard
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the layers of Photovoice focus groups discussions. Photovoice is a qualitative research method and community organizing tool that uses a specific type of photo elicitation and focus group discussions (Photo + Voice). In this 2.5-hour workshop (on zoom), you will be introduced to the process of preparing for, setting up, and facilitating a Photovoice focus group discussion. We will workshop Photovoice slideshows and Photovoice focus groups discussion facilitation. You will have the opportunity to play the roles of facilitator and participant in a brief Photovoice focus group discussion based on photos that we take for the workshop (preparation before the workshop sent via email).
