While Stata is used extensively to perform data manipulation and advanced empirical analysis in social sciences, it is equally valuable to plot graphs in an efficient manner. Designed for individuals who want to further hone their data visualization skills, the workshop will focus on writing codes in Stata to generate customized graphs, such as bar charts, histograms, kernel density, scatter plot and so on.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Write a do-file in Stata
  • Gain familiarity with constructing customized graphs in a flexible manner
  • Perform for loops to create multiple graphs efficiently
