This workshop is designed for participants with prior experience using R who are interested in expanding their skills in data visualization. Ever feel like you spent way too much time repeating lines of code to generate similar plots for a list of variables of interest in exploratory analysis? The hands-on session will focus on strategies for efficiently generating multiple plots.

Participants will learn how to create plots in R, write and apply loops and functions, and use these tools to automate the production of multiple visualizations. The workshop will also cover techniques for exporting plots for further use in research and presentations.

Prior R experience is required. Familiarity with basic data tasks—like importing datasets,  writing basic R commands, working with data frames (e.g., creating new variables or recoding)—will help you get the most out of the session.
