Are you new to qualitative data analysis software or curious about using MAXQDA for your research? This 2-hour hands-on workshop introduces you to the essentials of working with MAXQDA 24 (for both Mac and Windows), a powerful tool for analyzing qualitative and mixed-methods data. Designed for beginners and current users of other QDA tools (like NVivo) who are new to MAXQDA, this session will guide you through:
- Navigate the MAXQDA interface
- Import and organize your data
- Create and apply codes
- Explore simple analysis tools and visualizations
Whether you're preparing for your first research project or exploring new tools to support long-term, multi-phase work, this workshop will give you a practical foundation to begin working confidently in MAXQDA. Beyond analysis, MAXQDA can help you organize, index, and maintain continuity across evolving research goals.
No prior experience is required—just bring your curiosity and, if you'd like to follow along, your project files!
