Project Title: Co-designing a COmmunity-based survivorship intervention for PEople of color affected by cancer (COPE)

Dr. Seven's biobehavioral research program aims to understand the bio-behavioral-social determinants of the quality of life (QOL) of people affected by cancer with the focus of symptom science, which integrates biomarkers, social determinants, and the individual’s experience. As a 2022-23 ISSR Scholar, Dr. Seven will work on a proof-of-concept study to co-design and evaluate the feasibility, acceptability, and effect of a community-based survivorship intervention that uses a tripod approach integrating physical activity, eating habits, and motivational support (PEM intervention) for people of color affected by cancer.
