Preparedness Series: First Aid and Medicine

In this class we will discuss what first aid equipment knowledge you need to have in order to be prepared for a potential crisis situation. We will discuss treating many different kinds of wounds or other medical issues, as well as choices to consider for pain killers and antibiotics.

Sanitation will be covered in full detail including what to do with human waste and its potential usefulness for long-term survival. We will also cover gray water, Brown water, and black water.

We will even cover what happens when a loved one passes away. What do you do to preserve the cadaver until emergency assistance comes along. AKA hurricane Katrina.

Fire starting in regards to sanitation will also be discussed.
