In a special referendum regarding funding of a new Student Union, the vote passed 1246-1012.

The voting began on December 4th and ran through December 7th. With votes from nearly 10% of the undergraduate student body, the verdict determined that students were willing to accept a temporary $100 increase in the Student Activities Trust Fund fee to cover 50% of renovation costs to the outdated Student Union building.

Construction is expected to begin in Spring 2019. RSOs and interested students are encouraged to participate in upcoming design conversations.
