Michel is from Upton, Massachusetts. He is a third-year Commonwealth Honors College student pursuing a double major in Political Science and Spanish, with a minor in German. He first got involved with SGA during his first year when he was elected Senator for the Class of 2026. Michel has held three other positions in SGA, including Undersecretary of University Policy, Vice Chair of the Administrative Affairs Committee, and Chair of the Administrative Affairs Committee.

Melena is a sophomore in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences pursuing a double major in Legal Studies and Political Science. She first got involved in Student Government as a freshman senator and was the Vice Chair of the Administrative Affairs Committee, but now serves as the Associate Speaker.

Bella is thrilled to be Chair of Academic Oversight this academic year. She will advocate for all students' advancements while ensuring inclusivity for every student when developing initiatives and collaborating with the administration. Bella is a junior majoring in Landscape Architecture. This is her third year in the student government, she has been a senator and Assistant Chair for Academic Oversight in previous years.

Valeria Centinaro

Valeria is a second-year student in the Commonwealth Honors College pursuing a dual degree in Political Science and Legal Studies, with a certificate in Criminology. Beyond this position, Valeria serves as an elected Senator for the Class of 2027 for her second year and previously chaired the Rules and Ethics Subcommittee. As Chair of Administrative Affairs, Valeria's work goes into maintaining the Constitution and Bylaws of the SGA, entertaining all motions for amendments thereof, recommending legislation to the Senate, managing SGA personnel matters, and facilitating Senate processes.

Ishaan is a junior pursuing a double major in economics and psychology with a minor in IT. Outside of SGA, he works as a campus tour guide and a research assistant in the psychology department. Having joined SGA as a freshman senator, he is eager to bring in his vast experience, passion for advocacy, and commitment to strengthening the bond between the student body and the SGA to his role as the Chair of the Outreach and Development Committee. In his free time, he can be found fanboying over People's Market's dirty chai or reading by the pond.

Esther is a political science and sociology major with a passion for social justice from Brockton, MA. She joined SGA her freshman year and have wanted to become more involved and bring change to the school community. Esther hopes to achieve that through this role by uniting various groups and properly representing the underserved communities on campus. She is excited to help as well as learn from different individuals throughout the year.

Hai Tran is a junior at Umass Amherst, pursuing a double major in Operations and Information Management (OIM) and Economics. As a passionate advocate for student interests, Hai currently serves as the Chair of the Undergraduate Oversight Committee (UROC) within the Student Government Association. In this role, he oversees the registration and support of Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) on campus. Outside of SGA, Hai love running to explore a new city. He is also a big fan of F1 and Tennis. Hai is excited to continue serving the student body and working towards creating a more inclusive, efficient and positive campus environment for all.

Kundayi is a sophomore from Haymarket, VA, double majoring in Political Science and Economics. Outside of the SGA, she is on the e-board of the UMass Mock Trial Team and is a member of the Political Science Undergraduate Board. Though this is her first year in the SGA, she is excited to advocate for students' needs on campus as the Chair of Undergraduate Services.
