iClicker Lending Library

iClickers available on first come first serve basis

Through Academic Oversight, the Student Government Association offers an iClicker loan program to help combat the inequity and high costs of iClickers that are required for attendance and participation in select courses. There are approximately 70 iClickers available to loan out to students. There is no cost to borrow the clickers, students sign them out on a first-come first-serve basis at the beginning of the semester and fill out a google form so that we have both their information, and data on courses requiring iClickers. The program’s supply often greatly exceeds the demand, so Academic Oversight is attempting to push donation efforts as well as have conversations with administrators to address ways to combat academic challenges with iClickers.

How do I Sign Up

There is a sign up sheet at the front desk in the SGA office in the Student Union 305 or email Academic Oversight. Once your turn comes up, you will be contacted.

How do I donate my iClicker to the program?

There is currently a donation basket at the front desk of the Student Union for iClicker donations, or if you or someone you know has an iClicker they would like to donate please fill out this form, thank you!

Does the SGA iClicker loan program cost money?

There is a basket located at the front desk of the Student Union to be dropped off.

When do the sign-outs happen?

At the beginning of each semester, Academic Oversight will send out a block of sign-out times and a location i.e. 10am-4pm in the SGA office, and the sign-outs will be on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone.

What if I don't get an iClicker before they are all signed out?

You can add your name to the email list in case someone returns their iClicker, doesn’t need it anymore, or we get more donations. I would also recommend looking on eBay and Facebook Groups for people selling iClickers at a more reasonable price.

When do I return the iClicker?

In the past, the iClicker loan program has been for the whole year, however now we are doing it on a semester by semester basis. You will receive multiple email reminders from me as the due date nears, and the last day to drop off will typically be the last day of classes.

What if I sign-out an iClicker but don't need it anymore?

Just email Academic Oversight to return it so someone else can make use of it!

For any additional questions or concerns, please contact Academic Oversight.
