Multicultural Night

Multicultural Night is the flagship event at UMass Amherst for fostering cross-cultural connections and celebrating diversity. This event, open to the entire UMass community, including alumni, provides participants with the opportunity to share their cultural experiences, practices, and traditions with one another. We offer a wide array of cultural foods served by our dining services, allowing attendees to savor the richness of cultural diversity within our highly varied student population. We plan for more than five different cultural performances, such as cultural dance groups, poets, and singers.

Holiday Party

Come join us for a Holiday Party hosted by the SGA! Snacks, food and drinks will all be provided as well as a great time to meet people and have fun. Bring yourself, bring your friends, and bring your friend's friends! The only thing we ask is come in your comfiest holiday pajamas, ugly sweaters or traditional clothing and BE PREPARED TO HAVE FUN!

Hues of Heritage

The SGA hosted a "Hues of Heritage" Painting event in honor of Latin Heritage month. All students were welcomed and given a quote from a latinx icon to represent through painting. Hosted by Secretary Muanya, we had a successful event to come together and celebrate Latinx heritage month!
Multicultural Mixer

We invited the cultural RSOs on campus to gather and provide them with resources that would help them based on their cultural missions. Organized by Chair Ulysse and Secretary Muanya, we had a successful event bringing the cultural RSOs together to a shared space!
