Overview

The Student Affairs and University Life Council will meet from 2:00PM-3:00PM on the following dates during the 2022-2023 academic year:

Fall Semester 2022 
October 5- Whitmore 370 
November 2 - Zoom and CTL Conf. Room  301 Goodell
December 7 - rescheduled to 12/14 - CTL Conf. Rm 301 Goodell & Zoom

Charge:

The Student Affairs and University Life Council shall:

A.  Provide consultation, advice, and recommendations to the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Campus Life and other members of the administration on matters that intersect with faculty and academic affairs including but not limited to student retention, student success, and campus climate; and

B. Act as liaison to the Faculty Senate and make recommendations to it on policies that appropriately call for faculty review.

Its membership shall be:

From Chapter 5 Section 18 of the Faculty Senate Bylaws.

    1. Ten Faculty Members selected at large and one Librarian;
    2. The Provost or a designee, serving ex officio;
    3. The Vice Chancellor for University Relations, serving ex officio;
    4. The Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Campus Life or a designee, serving ex officio;
    5. The Secretary of the Faculty Senate or a designee, serving ex officio, non-voting;
    6. Two Graduate Student; and
    7. Five Undergraduate Students.
