Stephen D. Brewer of Biology was re-elected as the Presiding Officer of the Faculty Senate.
David Hoagland of Polymer Science and Engineering was re-elected as the Delegate to the Board of Trustees for the years 2024- 2026.
A presentation on UMass Flex 2.0 was given to the Senate.
A presentation on Organizational Review Project was given to the Senate.
The 2022-2023 Annual Report was received from the Athletic Council.
The 2022-2023 Annual Report was received from the Undergraduate Education Committee.
The 2022-2023 Annual Report was received from the Diversity Council.
The 2022-2023 Annual Report was received from the Public Engagement and Outreach Council.
The third of three readings of the motion to approve the By-Law Changes presented in Sen. Doc. No. 24-043A occurred. The final vote was taken, and the By-Law Changes were adopted.
The Merger of the School of Public Policy and DACSS as presented in Sen. Doc. No. 24-071, was approved by the Senate.
The Revision of the Commonwealth Honors College Requirements, as presented in Sen. Doc. No. 24-072, was approved by the Senate.
