Allison Butler, Chair of the Academic Matters Council (AMC) presented updates on the Policy Work on Academic Integrity and Syllabus Requirement.

Senator Gonen Dori-Hacohen, Co-Chair of the Joint Task Force for Childcare Needs Assessment- presented an special report on the ongoing findings and activities of the taskforce to the Senate.

The following academic program proposals were approved:

  • Revision of the Social Justice Concentration within the Master of Education, Education Specialist Degree. 
  • Revision of the Social Justice Concentration in the Doctorate of Education.
  • Creation of the Certificate in Horticulture.

The following items were tabled until the next Senate meeting.

Revisions to the Policy on Search, Appointment, and Evaluation Procedures for Deans, Associate Deans, Academic Department Chairs and Heads, and Academic Program Directors.
