There is one award cycle per year, with applications due November 1st. The award recipient(s) will be announced by December 1st. Because of the departmental commitment of a service release and teaching replacement, the department chair must endorse the proposal. Criteria for the award will include a credible research plan, justification of the budget requested, and convincing evidence that the award will assist the associate professor in their path towards promotion to full Professor within three years.
Project narratives and budget proposals should include any bibliographic references, as necessary.
