Anyone can submit a nomination, including colleagues within or outside the department/program. Required: 1) A nomination letter from a chair, director, supervisor, or colleague. The letter must include a clear description of the nominee’s role and a detailed explanation, with specific examples, of the significant contributions the nominee’s work makes to the department/program, college, or university. 2) A letter in support of the nomination, signed by the department/program chair or director, if the original nomination is submitted by someone other than the chair or director. The letter must include a clear description of the nominee’s role and a detailed explanation, with specific examples, of the significant contributions the nominee’s work makes to the department/program, college, or university. 3) At least one, but a maximum of five, letters of support from current or former students and/or departmental or campus colleagues who have worked with the nominee in their advising or student success role. Strongly Encouraged: Explanation of any contributions the nominee has made to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice in the department/program, college, or university.
