SBS Online Fellows Program

Due December 20, 2016 by 5:00pm. Application for the 2016-2017 College of Social & Behavioral Sciences Online Fellows Program
The Online Fellows Program selects instructors to develop high quality online courses that will be attractive to students at UMass and beyond. Courses can be entirely new or transformations of face-to-face courses. Courses that fulfill a GenEd or a departmental requirement or contribute to a new program are preferred. Please work closely with your Department Chair to identify a course which you would like to develop to teach online that fits the needs of your department.
I would like to apply for the SBS Online Fellows Program. If accepted, I understand that I will receive training and support for online course development during the 2017 spring semester and receive $1,500 upon completion of the program and another $1,500 once the course is successfully taught for the first time. I am willing to develop the course listed below, which has not been developed previously by an Online Fellow; to participate in online course development training by Continuing and Professional Education, if necessary; and to attend four hour-long Fellows Program meetings in the spring. I understand that Fellows will be chosen based on Departmental, College, and University needs.
