Michelle Chung '18

Michelle graduated as a Sustainable Community Development (SCD) major in May 2018, and has been a part of the SBS Academic Fellows Program as well as UMass Women into Leadership (UWiL). Michelle studied abroad for two years of her four-year college career, and will go to Brazil in the fall for a Fulbright Student Fellowship.

Sara Andresen '18

Sara is a political science and international studies major and studies Chinese. She participated in an intensive Chinese language program at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Beijing Language and Culture University while studying abroad in the summer of 2017. She is also a UWiL (UMass Women into Leadership) fellow, president of the UMass Amherst Wrestling Club, a member of the International Relations Club, a peer advisor and a SBS Academic Fellow (AFP).

Canaris Simmons '18

Canaris was a recipient of the Outstanding Service to the Sociology Major award in 2017, was a member of the SBS Academic Fellows program, and is part of the staff with Student Bridges, whose mission is to increase college access and success for underrepresented students on the university campus and in neighboring communities.

Nathalie Amazan '20 

Nathalie Amazan '20 is a political science and legal studies major, the newly elected Vice President of the UMass Amherst Student Government Association, the co-founder of the UMass Prison Abolition Collective, and works at the Stonewall Center where she does trainings around queer and trans identities and terminologies. She is also a member of the SBS Academic Fellows program and works at the Center for Education Policy & Advocacy (CEPA)
