SBS graduate students should familiarize themselves with the Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) within the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. ISSR facilitates social science research and methods across the university. By taking guidance from the research faculty's interests and supporting their efforts, the Institute draws its dynamic strengths and directions from the evolving enterprise of contemporary social research. ISSR supports the methods and training needs of faculty and their graduate students, provides grant opportunities and support, and brokers interdisciplinary collaborations both among social scientists and with other scientists on campus.
