Introduction to Interview Methods for Social Science Research: Learn the do’s and don’t’s of interview-based data collection. This workshop will include a comparison of the strengths and weaknesses of multiple interview formats (i.e., structured, semi-structured, and open-ended).

The Institute for Social Science Research supports the methods and training needs of social science graduate students and faculty, providing free consultation and workshops on a variety of qualitative and quantitative analytical methods.  Consultation hours are walk-in (Monday-Friday, 1:00 to 4:00 pm, unless the lab is reserved) or by appointment.  Visit our website to sign up and to see our schedule of events and our walk-in lab hours.
